  • Since 1995, la Roche-Posay is committed to support research by encouraging a better understanding of skin conditions and driving research towards life-changing dermatology and efficient solutions that improve the quality of life of patients. To this end, the brand organizes an annual research grant contest. Since 2022, the theme of the competition has been “Improving the quality of life dermatological patients”.

  • The team involved can include other specialties. However, the applicant must be a dermatologist currently in activity with less than 8 years of practice. These 8 years of practice do not include the residency years.

  • Applicants can only submit one project proposal per year as led dermatologist but can be part of the medical team of other projects.

  • No, funding request is limited to ongoing projects needing funds to be completed not to cover writing or publication fees of finished projects.

  • It's totally normal: the US and Canada have their own La Roche-Posay Research Grants. If you would like to participate, please visit this site https://www.lorealdermatologicalbeauty.us/lrp/grantproposal or contact [email protected] or [email protected] if you have any questions.

  • If your proposal was not selected by the jury, we encourage you to update your proposal and reapply to following year edition.

  • La Roche-Posay Research Grants are limited to projects requiring funding. Applicants will be asked to sign an affidavit stating that the project has never received another grant. It is important to notify La Roche-Posay Research Grants if the project has received other funding after submission. If the research proposal is part of an already funded project, you will need to provide detailed overview on the portion of the funding requested from La Roche-Posay Research Grants that is not covered elsewhere.

  • Only applications in English will be accepted.
